Assistance & Support for Wildfire Evacuees

A reception centre is open at Fort William Gardens Arena, located at 901 Miles St E, Thunder Bay. The centre includes sleeping accommodations, food, water, pet accommodation, hygiene kits, and medical supports.
July 18, 2026 , 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 670 Beaverhall Rd for KTTS in partnership with WhiteSands FN to sort donations.
Donations to the Superior inn/670 Beaverhall and Matawa are now paused but volunteers are still needed
All other drop off points remain open as far as we have been told. We will update as we are informed.
