At 8:25 the highway was reopened.

Hwy 17 is closed from Wawa to White River due to weather conditions. The highway was closed at 1:56 a.m. At 8:15 the Winter Weather Travel Advisory ended (Wawa – Pukaskwa Park, White River – Dubreuilville), so the weather should let up soon.
