Algoma-Manitoulin MPP Michael Mantha congratulated local recipients of the 2017-18 Ontario Arts Council grants.
“Our region is truly blessed with talented artists and vibrant arts organizations,” said Mantha. “As a result, 81 projects and programs in Algoma-Manitoulin shared almost $1.3 million in funding from the Ontario Arts Council. I congratulate this year’s recipients for their extraordinary work, their talent and their contribution to our cultural fabric that unites us all.
“I have always said that our greatest resource is our people, and I encourage everyone to get out to enjoy our local arts and support our local artists.”
