DAND, Gladys Jean (nee Burnside)

In loving memory of Gladys Jean Dand nee Burnside, 84 years, of Wawa, who passed away Sunday, February 5th, 2006 at the SRH-St. Joseph’s Health Centre.

Beloved wife of Harold Dand predeceased. Loving daughter of George and Jean Rodger Burnside predeceased. Dear sister of Jessie Burnside of Espanola, Rodger Burnside wife Barbara of St. Mary’s, Leila Campbell husband Frank predeceased of Sault Ste. Marie, Fred Burnside wife Ruby both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Born in St. Mary’s, she married Harold Dand in 1957 in Massey. Gladys had lived for 40 years in Wawa, moving recently to Sudbury.

A woman of faith, she belonged to St. Paul Anglican Church in Wawa.

At Gladys’ request, there will be no visitation; no service. She will be interred beside her husband in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul Anglican Church, Wawa.
