Marine – Strong wind warning in effect. Wind light becoming southeast 10 knots this evening then increasing to southeast 15 Sunday morning. Wind increasing to southeast 20 Sunday evening. Waves less than one half metre building to one Sunday morning and to 2 Sunday evening.

News Tidbits – There may be some delays this morning – the final coat of pavement is being put on Mission Road!

Today at 3 p.m. a flotilla will be leaving Naturally Superior Adventures and heading to the Harry Mcluskie Marina to a ribbon cutting ceremony for the ‘Great Trail’ at the interpretive sign and bathroom facilities that have been installed. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, the flotilla will return to Naturally Superior Adventures to enjoy a BBQ meal, and the paddleboards/canoes/kayaks that are available for rental to use during this time. After dinner there will be a concert by Wawa’s very own Magpie (Lindsay and Adrian Boal). Please call Brian Lachine, 705-856-2244, ext 247 to make a reservation for the dinner.
