News Tidbits – Manuela Byrnes is the new Commander of the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment. Staff Sergeant Byrnes had been the acting Detachment Commander since May of 2019 and was recently promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. She is the first female to lead the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment. Manuela Byrnes was an officer with the Superior East detachment for a number of years.
