Marie OPP Crime Unit and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, arrested and charged a Chapleau male following a child pornography investigation.<\/p>\n<p>A search warrant executed at the accused&#8217;s Chapleau residence led to the seizure of seven electronic devices for further forensic examination.<\/p>\n<p>As a result Kaarlo LEHTIMAKI (31) of Chapleau, Ontario was charged with the following offence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adult Possession of Child Pornography contrary to section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Timmins, Ontario.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-101\" src=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/OPPCrest-300x236.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"133\" \/><strong>About the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)<\/strong> - The Ontario Provincial Police is<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0one of North America's largest deployed police services with more than 6,200 uniformed officers, 3,100 civilian employees and 800 Auxiliary officers.
