Another Alberta Clipper will sail southeastward across the Great lakes today, bringing flurries and perhaps a brief snow squall or two with it.<\/p>\n
While snowfall amounts will likely be limited to the 5 to 10 centimetre range, strong and gusty winds near Northern Lake Huron and Lake Superior will result in occasional blowing snow.<\/p>\n
Poor winter driving conditions due to occasional low visibility in blowing snow or bursts of heavier snow are expected. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination.<\/p>\n
The lake effect snow activity is expected to diminish slowly tonight as a high pressure ridge arrives in the wake of the Alberta Clipper.<\/p>\n
