The driver of the commercial motor vehicle, a white Freightliner had stuck a pole as well as another commercial motor vehicle, also a white Freightliner, parked in the parking lot. The driver showed signs of impairment was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the detachment for further testing.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the investigation, Asad JANJUA, 58-years-old, of Saskatoon, SK has been criminally charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operation While Impaired &#8211; Alcohol and Drugs<\/li>\n<li>Operation While Impaired &#8211; Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, the accused was charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adult Having Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor, Contrary to the Liquor Licence and Control Act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minor injuries were reported as a result of this MVC. The Accused received a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 7-day Vehicle Impoundment. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Nipigon on a later date.<\/p>\n<p>The OPP is committed to road safety and encourage motorists to contact police at 1-888-310-1122 or 911 if you suspect impaired driving.
