Marie Police Service charges.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before 1:00 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a theft from a business in the 200 block of Queen Street East. An investigation revealed two suspects had stolen merchandise from the business earlier that day.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before 3:30 p.m., officers with the OPP located the two suspects, along with a third person, in Wawa, Ontario. Upon searching the third individual, officers located the stolen merchandise. All three people were arrested.<\/p>\n<p>74-year-old Radu Anghel of Oakville, Ontario \u2014 who was also wanted on warrants from four other police services \u2014 is charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theft Over $5,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>40-year-old Robert Lukacs of Pickering, Ontario \u2014 who was also wanted on warrants from one other police service \u2014 is charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>34-year-old Vasile Rostas of Pickering, Ontario \u2014 who was also wanted on warrants from four other police services \u2014 is charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theft Over $5,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All three accused were released on undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court on December 14, 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 19, 2026, officers with the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested three individuals on Sault Ste.
