The female driver appeared to be passed out behind the wheel of a gray Chevrolet Blazer. Standard Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) was conducted and resulted in grounds for impairment. The driver was transported to the hospital to provide blood samples.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the investigation, Shayleen DOGGETT, 30 years of Thunder Bay has been criminally charged under the <em>Criminal Code<\/em> with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0Operation While Impaired &#8211; alcohol and drugs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Police are awaiting the results of the blood testing. The accused was released and is to appear in Nipigon Court at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>The OPP remains committed to taking alcohol\/drug-impaired drivers off our roads through enforcement and public education. If you suspect someone is driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, it is important to call 9-1-1 to report it in emergency situations.
