During that investigation, the driver was found to be operating with a suspended licence. The driver was charged, and the vehicle was placed out of service until the required repairs were completed.<\/p>\n<p>A short time later, MTO officers observed the driver operating the same commercial motor vehicle. The vehicle was stopped again, and OPP officers attended the scene. The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under suspension.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old individual from Kitchener, Ontario, was charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Driving While Under Suspension<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>The commercial motor vehicle was towed and detained pursuant to Section 217(4) of the <em>Highway Traffic Act<\/em>, pending release by a Justice of the Peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aug 24, 2026 at 08:08 A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driver is facing charges after continuing to operate a vehicle despite being found to have a suspended driver&#8217;s licence and equipment violations.
