Adored and loving mother of Meredith Bernier (Calixte). Very loving Nana of Claire (Matthew), Geoff (Hannah), Nolan (Amber) and Braden. Daughter of the late Ethel and Ronald Pearce. Daughter-in-law of the late Renee and Lawless Cecile. Dear sister-in-law of the late Susan Nwosu and Mike Cecile (Carole). Loving aunt of Lisa, Chioma, Eze, Christopher and Geoff.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Cremation took place at River\u2019s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. A memorial service will take place at Trinity United Church, Chapleau on Tuesday August 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Don McLean officiating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Memorial donations made to the Trinity United Church or to the Chapleau Health Service would be appreciated by the family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Arrangements entrusted to Kerry Funeral Home, Wawa<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Passed away peacefully at the Chapleau Health Services with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the age of 80 years.
