The competition, hosted by \u00c9cole Saint-Joseph in Wawa, will bring together Francophone students from the following elementary and secondary schools:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c9cole Ste-Marie (Azilda),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole Saint-Joseph (Blind River),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole Sacr\u00e9-C\u0153ur (Chapleau),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole secondaire catholique Trillium (Chapleau),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole Alliance St-Joseph (Chelmsford),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole St-Joseph (Dubreuilville),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole catholique Georges Vanier (Elliot Lake),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole St-Augustin (Garson),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole St-Paul (Lively),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole publique Franco-Manitou (Manitouwadge),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault (Sault-Ste-Marie),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole publique \u00c9cho-des-Rapides (Sault-Ste-Marie),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole secondaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault (Sault-Ste-Marie),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole Sainte-Anne (Spanish),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole St-Denis (Sudbury),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole catholique Notre-Place (Val Th\u00e9r\u00e8se),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole publique l&#8217;Escalade (Wawa),<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire Saint-Joseph (Wawa) and<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9cole secondaire Saint-Joseph (Wawa).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The tournament will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre (3 Chris Simon Drive, Wawa). All participants will play five games. Competing players will be divided in four categories: grades 3 and 4, grades 5 and 6, grades 7 and 8, and grades 9 to 12. Prizes will be awarded to winning teams and top students in each category.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Students from \u00c9cole Saint-Joseph (Wawa) have acquired a reputation for their passion for chess. This discipline enables them to call upon strategic finesse, memory, and problem-solving skills.
