Sunday is the annual Feed the Need Day! Originally begun by Ian MacDonald (Subway) this event has grown and is now an event that takes over the Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone is invited to come down to the Banquet Hall with your non-perishable food item in hand and you will receive a free subway sandwich (6″), beverage (donated by either John’s ValuMart or Tim Hortons). As you eat, you can enjoy the <\/span>holiday themed\u00a0live entertainment!<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the main fundraising opportunity for the Wawa Community Food Bank. This year it has become even more important now that the ‘points program’ at our local ValuMart has been discontinued. If you would like to make a financial donation to the Wawa Community Food Bank this year, e-mailing them at jkmwawa@shaw.ca,\u00a0mailing to Box 1065, Wawa, ON \u00a0P0S 1K0, or you can provide your donation in person.<\/span><\/p>\n
