North Bay OPP have issued a travel advisory:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Environment Canada is forecasting for North Bay area:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • Freezing rain with up to 10\u201315 mm of ice<\/li>\n
  • Snowfall of 10\u201320 cm<\/li>\n
  • Wind gusts of 60\u201370 km\/h<\/li>\n
  • Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    Travel will be hazardous. Road closures are possible. Prolonged utility outages may occur.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Other parts of the North East Region are expecting even more accumulation with 30\u201350 cm of snow, strong winds, and blizzard conditions.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    If you must drive:<\/strong><\/div>\n

    • Slow down and increase following distance<\/li>\n
    • Turn on full headlights in low visibility<\/li>\n
    • Clear ALL ice and snow from your vehicle<\/li>\n
    • Pack an emergency kit (blankets, food, water, charged phone)<\/li>\n
    • Check road conditions at https:\/\/511on.ca<\/li>\n
    • Monitor weather alerts at https:\/\/weather.gc.ca<\/li>\n
    • Obey all road closures and police direction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
