Quick facts<\/h2>\n\n- Members of the Indigenous Advisory Council (IAC) are appointed for an initial two-year term. They will meet a minimum of four times a year in-person, with other virtual meetings held as required. The IAC will be supported secretarially by the Major Projects Office (MPO).<\/li>\n
- The MPO was enabled through the\u00a0Building Canada Act<\/em>, which came into force in June 2025.\u00a0It was launched on August 29, 2025,\u00a0to get nation-building projects built. It is a single window for proponents, Indigenous communities, and governments to help identify and fast-track nation-building projects that will grow Canada\u2019s economy.<\/li>\n
