As I write this the sun is just breaking over Surluga Mine Hill, and it promises to be a bright, sunny day. The wind, however, will continue to be gusty.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you wonder about the verse, despite it&#8217;s age &#8211; has it&#8217;s roots in science. From the Library of Congress, &#8220;When we see a red sky at night, this means that the setting sun is sending its light through a high concentration of dust particles. This usually indicates high pressure and stable air coming in from the west.
