Where is God for those who have lost their homes or lives to flooding or forest fires?<\/p>\n<p>In our thanksgiving, can our gratitude for our abundance move us to not only offer the aid of emergency relief, but advocate for the very hard work of transforming our society to confront the enormous challenges we face with the climate change? Let us think of how precarious our life and our civilization truly is. Can the earth reliably provide enough food for all of us to eat every year as the effects of climate change take root?<\/p>\n<p>We decorate\u00a0 in a harvest theme for Thanksgiving Sunday.
