The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Nipigon OPP Detachment for further testing.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Christopher SMITH, 45-years-old, of South Stormont Township, has been arrested and charged under the <em>Controlled Drugs and Substances Act<\/em> and <em>Criminal Code <\/em>with:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Possession of a Schedule I Substance &#8211; Cocaine<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Failure to Comply with Release Order<\/p>\n<p>The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Nipigon at a later date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A traffic complaint has led to drug charges being laid.
