Crews have been sent from\u00a0Canadian Niagara Power, Algoma Power and Cornwall Electric.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur thoughts are with the people of Turks and Caicos and their families during the difficult time\u00a0of hurricane restoration, and we are very proud that our team from FortisOntario can assist in\u00a0these efforts. We look forward to their safe return.\u201dsays Scott Hawkes, President and CEO,\u00a0FortisOntario.<\/p>\n<p>In total, Fortis utilities sent 58 employees to help in the restoration efforts including resources from\u00a0FortisOntario, FortisBC, FortisAlberta, Maritime Electric and Newfoundland Power.\u00a0The comprehensive restoration will prioritize restoring power to critical infrastructure such as\u00a0water supply systems, as well as to emergency response organizations like fire, police, hospitals\u00a0and shelters.
