{"id":59597,"date":"2023-03-09T08:00:11","date_gmt":"2023-03-09T13:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=59597"},"modified":"2023-03-09T06:38:51","modified_gmt":"2023-03-09T11:38:51","slug":"usiness-summary-for-2022-over-1-million-in-loans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2023\/03\/09\/usiness-summary-for-2022-over-1-million-in-loans\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Summary for 2022 \u2013 Over $1 Million in Loans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Superior East Community Futures Development Corporation (SECFDC) is a non-profit organization offering small business and regional community economic development services to the Superior East region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the 2022 year the Superior East CFDC approved a grand total of $1,161,367 in local and regional loans.\u00a0 These loans impacted 35 jobs in the region.\u00a0 A total of $1,205,535 was also leveraged from other sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Superior East was established back in 1989 and since this time it has disbursed 690 loans within the region for a total of $28,586,340.\u00a0 These loans served to create or maintain 2,986 jobs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the first quarter of 2022 the corporation approved $74,970 in RRRFCD funds to support local non-profits with projects to assist them in their recovery from the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The SECFDC provides small business financing for existing local businesses and for individuals looking to start up or purchase a business within the region.\u00a0 The loans are available for anything business related including: the purchase of buildings and equipment, inventory, working capital, debt consolidation, etc. \u00a0\u00a0Loans are available up to a maximum of $750,000.\u00a0 Flex loans can provide quick financing to existing businesses that require $50,000 or less.\u00a0 New loan products include the Business Transition Loan, Women in Business Loan, Line of Credit and the Business Improvement Loan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If interested in applying for any of the loan programs, contact Tracy Amos at (705) 856-1105 or 1-800-387-5776, ext. 222 or email: amos@superioreastcfdc.ca.\u00a0 All program applications are available in both official languages on the website at: www.superioreastcfdc.ca.\u00a0 Or drop by the office located at 14 Ganley Street in Wawa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Superior East CFDC is supported by FedNor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Superior East Community Futures Development Corporation (SECFDC) is a non-profit organization offering small business and regional community economic development services to the Superior East region. &nbsp;
