{"id":57624,"date":"2022-12-07T08:07:10","date_gmt":"2022-12-07T13:07:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=57624"},"modified":"2022-12-07T08:12:53","modified_gmt":"2022-12-07T13:12:53","slug":"argonaut-gold-magino-to-sell-anna-paula-project-to-heliostar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2022\/12\/07\/argonaut-gold-magino-to-sell-anna-paula-project-to-heliostar\/","title":{"rendered":"Argonaut Gold (Magino) to Sell Anna Paula Project to Heliostar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Argonaut Gold will sell its Ana Paula gold project in Guerrero State, Mexico for $30 million in cash and shares to Heliostar.<\/p>\n<p>Heliostar (Vancouver based) will pay<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$10 million upfront;<\/li>\n<li>$5 million in shares upon renewing the open-pit mining permit or obtaining a new underground mining permit;<\/li>\n<li>$2 million upon completion of a feasibility study or July 1, 2024 (whichever comes first);<\/li>\n<li>$3 million in cash and $2 million in cash or shares preceding the construction announcement; and<\/li>\n<li>$5 million plus $3 million in cash or shares preceding the announcement of commercial production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Heliostar will then acquire all issued and outstanding shares of Aurea Mining, an Argonaut subsidiary that holds a 100% indirect interest in Ana Paula.<\/p>\n<p>Argonaut and Heliostar have also entered into an option agreement for Heliostar to acquire 100% of the San Antonio gold project, also in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Heliostar currently owns 100% of three early stage projects in Sonora. Heliostar\u2019s flagship asset is the Unga <a class=\"topiclink always-topic\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miningweekly.com\/topic\/gold\">Gold<\/a> project on Unga and Popof Islands, in Alaska.<\/p>\n<p>Argonaut will now concentrate on its &#8216;cornerstone asset&#8217;, the Magino gold mine. <span class=\"ILfuVd\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hgKElc\">The first gold pour at Magino is scheduled for April 2023<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Argonaut Gold will sell its Ana Paula gold project in Guerrero State, Mexico for $30 million in cash and shares to Heliostar.
