Multiple Charges Laid after Disturbance at Bar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/OPPCrest-e1501592123859.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-101\" src=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/OPPCrest-e1501592123859.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a>On September 4, 2022, at approximately 2:00 a.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called in relation to a disturbance a bar on Philip Walk in Elliot Lake.<\/p>\n<p>The complainant reported a fight had ensued between numerous people inside and was now outside in the parking lot.\u00a0Once outside, threats were made with a knife and a handgun.\u00a0Police arrived a short time afterwards, but the suspects had departed in a black car.\u00a0Numerous people were identified and arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah CAMPBELL, 26 years-old from Elliot Lake, was charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm, contrary to section 94 of the Criminal Code (CC)<\/li>\n<li>Accessory After the Fact to Commit Indictable Offence, contrary to section 463(b) of the CC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on October 11, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Danny BOUILLON, 25 years-old from Huron Shores, was charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assault with a Weapon, contrary to section 267(a) of the CC<\/li>\n<li>Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, contrary to section 88 of the CC<\/li>\n<li>Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm, contrary to section 94 of the CC<\/li>\n<li>Uttering Threats &#8211; Cause Death or Bodily Harm, contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the CC<\/li>\n<li>Failure to Comply with Undertaking (Three Counts), contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the CC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The accused was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on September 5, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Kamar MARTIN-GILLETTE, 21 years-old from York was charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm, contrary to section 91(1) of the CC<\/li>\n<li>Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, contrary to section 88 of the CC<\/li>\n<li>Carrying Concealed Weapon, contrary to section 90 of the CC<\/li>\n<li>Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm, contrary to section 94 of the CC<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking &#8211;
