{"id":54733,"date":"2022-07-06T07:35:09","date_gmt":"2022-07-06T11:35:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=54733"},"modified":"2022-07-06T06:36:50","modified_gmt":"2022-07-06T10:36:50","slug":"east-algoma-opp-multiple-charges-laid-in-break-enters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2022\/07\/06\/east-algoma-opp-multiple-charges-laid-in-break-enters\/","title":{"rendered":"East Algoma OPP &#8211; Multiple Charges laid in Break &#038; Enters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/OPPCrest-e1501592123859.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-101\" src=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/OPPCrest-e1501592123859.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a>On May 30, 2022, members from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to two break and enters in the Municipality of Huron Shores and Plummer Additional Township.<\/p>\n<p>The first was reported at 09:51 a.m., at a local energy fuel warehouse on Station Road and Highway 17 West in the Municipality of Huron Shores and occurred sometime between May 29<sup>th<\/sup> and May 30<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Items stolen were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2019 Can Am Commander side-by-side ($23,000 value)<\/li>\n<li>2016 Husqvarna snow bike, orange in color ($15,000 value)<\/li>\n<li>2019 KTM 500 snow bike, orange in color ($15,000 value)<\/li>\n<li>and numerous parts for these bikes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Total approximate value was $60,000.<\/p>\n<p>The other break and enter was reported at 10:53 a.m., at a hardware business on Main Street in Plummer Additional Township and occurred sometime between May 30<sup>th<\/sup> and May 31<sup>st<\/sup>, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Items stolen were:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0various lengths of copper pipe ($900 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0washer top load ($650 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0portable air conditioner ($600 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0three Benchmark generators -two 6250W and 4000W ($1,900 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0hand appliance dolly ($175 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0two portable generators ($1100 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0portable barbeque ($380 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Radley pressure washer ($400 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0three Radley lawn trimmer ($160 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0three Radley cordless lawn mowers ($750 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0four aluminum camp chairs ($150 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a09-foot umbrella ($90 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a08-foot fibreglass ladder ($340 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0wheelbarrow ($100 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0cordless snow blower ($550 value)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0other miscellaneous items<\/p>\n<p>Total approximate value was $9,900<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Police located and seized an enclosed trailer on Cloudslee Road in Plummer Additional Township and executed a search warrant on June 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, 2022.
