Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged three individuals in connection with a Dryden-area homicide that claimed the life of a 28-year-old in 2018.<\/p>\n
Henry STONE-ARNOLD was last seen in the City of Dryden during the evening of August 8, 2018. When STONE-ARNOLD’s vehicle was located at a private business in Van Horne Township on August 9, police commenced a missing person’s investigation. During the course of the investigation, human remains were found on private property on Trist Road that were later identified as belonging to STONE-ARNOLD. Evidence at the scene indicated that the cause of death was suspicious.<\/p>\n
After a 46-month investigation, three people have been charged in relation to this homicide.<\/p>\n
Two individuals are charged with:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 First Degree Murder, contrary to Section 235 of the Criminal Code
\n\u00b7 Committing Indignity to a Body, contrary to Section 182(b) of the Criminal Code<\/p>\n
Another individual is charged with:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Obstruct Justice, contrary to Section 139(2) of the Criminal Code
\n\u00b7 Utter Threats, contrary to Section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
\n\u00b7 Accessory After the Fact (Murder), contrary to Section 240 of the Criminal Code<\/p>\n
Police believe the three accused and the victim were known to each other. At the time of Henry STONE-ARNOLD’s death, the accused were under the age of 18. As a result, their names cannot be released under terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.<\/p>\n
