On March 25, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m. members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to mischief related occurrence at an apartment building on Dunn Road in Elliot Lake.<\/p>\n
The complainant reported a known person proceeded smash windows in the building with a hammer.\u00a0Prior to this call, police had attended and dealt with the same person in relation to a landlord\/tenant matter.\u00a0Police located the person a short time later who was arrested and charged.<\/p>\n
Adam SMYTHE, 29 years-old, from Elliot Lake was charged with Mischief – Destroys or Damages Property, contrary to section 430(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.<\/p>\n
