{"id":52875,"date":"2022-03-22T12:02:05","date_gmt":"2022-03-22T16:02:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=52875"},"modified":"2022-03-22T12:04:42","modified_gmt":"2022-03-22T16:04:42","slug":"se-opp-white-river-charges-laid-at-ride-checkpoint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/22\/se-opp-white-river-charges-laid-at-ride-checkpoint\/","title":{"rendered":"SE OPP White River &#8211; Charges laid at RIDE Checkpoint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On March 15, 2022 at approximately 2:39 p.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduced Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checkpoint on Highway 17 in Vasiloff Township near White River.<\/p>\n<p>At approximately 2:51 p.m., a sport utility vehicle (SUV) entered the checkpoint. Officers detected the odour of cannabis emanating from the vehicle and conducted a search pursuant to the Cannabis Control Act (CCA).
