Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 3 cm per hour are possible which can reduce visibilities.<br \/>\nTotal snowfall amounts near 15 to 20 cm are expected. Locally higher amounts are also possible especially for areas near Lake Superior.<\/p>\n<p>When:<br \/>\nThis afternoon through Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Discussion:<br \/>\nSnow is expected to taper from west to east early Sunday morning. This snowfall is due to a low pressure system, an Alberta Clipper, that is expected to track east across Lake Superior tonight through Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
