Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm in an hour or two are possible.<\/p>\n<p>Travel will be impacted during this period, especially along Highway 17.<\/p>\n<p>The snow will move out of the region later this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. The lake effect snow will become heavy at times beginning this evening, with peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm likely in the strongest lake effect snow squalls.<\/p>\n<p>Travel will be impacted during this period, especially along Highway 17.<\/p>\n<p>Snow squall watches or warnings may be issued later today.<\/p>\n<p>This lake effect snow is expected to taper off by midday Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.
