    Extremely cold wind chills this morning.<\/p>\n

    Hazard:
    \nWind chill values of minus 40 to minus 50.<\/p>\n

    When:
    \nThis morning. Temperatures will moderate during the day.<\/p>\n

    Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.<\/p>\n

    Risks are greater for young children, older adults, people with chronic illnesses, people working or exercising outdoors, and those without proper shelter.<\/p>\n

    Cover up. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill.<\/p>\n

    If it’s too cold for you to stay outside, it’s too cold for your pet to stay outside.<\/p>\n

      Winter weather travel advisory in effect for Wednesday through Thursday.<\/p>\n

      Hazards:
      \nLake effect snow off Lake Superior, at times heavy, with total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm possible by Thursday.
      \nWind gusts up to 80 km\/h causing significantly reduced visibilities at times in blowing snow.<\/p>\n

      When:
      \nWednesday morning through Thursday.<\/p>\n

      Discussion:
      \nSnow squalls are expected to weaken by Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

      Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If you must drive, be prepared for areas of poor visibility. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.<\/p>\n
