The City of Sault Ste. Marie has ended their s<span data-reactroot=\"\">ignificant weather event<\/span>, and Environment Canada has ended their winter weather travel advisory.<\/p>\n<p>School buses have been cancelled:<\/p>\n<div><strong>Dubreuilville, White River and Wawa<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Due to the poor road conditions and\u00a0visibility\u00a0between Wawa and White River.\u00a0 Routes<b>\u00a0N001 , N002, N006, N009<\/b>\u00a0servicing Dubreuilville,\u00a0White River and Wawa communities will be cancelled today. This\u00a0cancellation affects students who attend Sir James Dunn P.S, Michipicoten High School, St. Augustine, Ecole Saint Joseph, and St. Basil (White River).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Chapleau<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Due to the poor road conditions and\u00a0visibility\u00a0in the Chapleau area.\u00a0 Routes\u00a0<b>N5 , N6, N9\u00a0<\/b>will be\u00a0cancelled today. All lanes closed. &#8211; Hwy 17 is closed in Agawa Bay due to a collision. Updated January 18th at 1600<\/li>\n<li>Collision on HWY 17 Eastbound at HWY 101(E) &#8211; WAWA. Lane and EAST shoulder closed. Hwy 17 reduced to one lane in Wawa due to collision. Updated January 18th at 1615<\/li>\n<li>Collision on HWY 17 Eastbound at SEC HWY 563-BATCHAWANA. Lane and EAST shoulder closed. Hwy 17 reduced to one lane in Batchawana Bay due to collision. Updated January at 1615<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Highway 17 remains closed between Wawa and the junction of Hwy 17\/Hwy 563 at Batchawana Bay. Superior East OPP have advised that this is a serious collision and that the highway will remain closed for several hours.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At 16:43 &#8211; The City of Sault Ste. Marie declared a s<span data-reactroot=\"\">ignificant weather event. SSM Police Services advise &#8220;Drivers and pedestrians stay off area roads as much as possible during current weather conditions.
