{"id":48237,"date":"2021-10-22T08:16:10","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T12:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=48237"},"modified":"2021-10-22T08:16:10","modified_gmt":"2021-10-22T12:16:10","slug":"east-algoma-opp-officers-arrest-wanted-man","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2021\/10\/22\/east-algoma-opp-officers-arrest-wanted-man\/","title":{"rendered":"East Algoma OPP &#8211; Officers arrest wanted man"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 14, 2021, at approximately 4:30 p.m. East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Main Street in Thessalon in regards to an intoxicated person who had just left a retail store.<\/p>\n<p>Police attended and located the person walking on Main Street.\u00a0Police learned there was also an arrest warrant for failing to attend court.\u00a0Subsequently, the person was arrested and charged.<\/p>\n<p>Shaun HUTCHINSON, 46 years-old, of Johnson Township, was charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Failure to Attend Court After Having Appeared, contrary to section 145(2)(b) of the Criminal Code<\/li>\n<li>Being Intoxicated in Public Place, contrary to section 31(4) of the Liquor License Act<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on November 25, 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 14, 2021, at approximately 4:30 p.m. East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Main Street in Thessalon in regards to an intoxicated person who had just left a retail store.
