{"id":43191,"date":"2021-03-24T11:16:11","date_gmt":"2021-03-24T15:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=43191"},"modified":"2021-03-24T11:16:11","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T15:16:11","slug":"north-algomas-covid-19-vaccine-clinics-new-eligible-groups","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2021\/03\/24\/north-algomas-covid-19-vaccine-clinics-new-eligible-groups\/","title":{"rendered":"North Algoma\u2019s COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics: New Eligible Groups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The following provincial priority groups are now eligible to book an appointment for COVID-19 immunization at clinics across North Algoma:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health Care Workers (Highest, Very High, High, and Moderate Categories as per\u00a0Guidance for Prioritizing Health Care Workers)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Faith leaders who provide:\n<ul>\n<li>End of life care<\/li>\n<li>Care of the deceased, funerals, bathing, or other ceremony with direct contact with deceased persons<\/li>\n<li>Home visits to unwell persons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Pastoral care in hospitals\/long-term care homes\/retirement homes or other vulnerable settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Staff and Essential Caregivers in Long-Term Care, retirement homes, and other congregate care settings for seniors (e.g. assisted living)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>First Nation, Metis, and Inuit individuals who are 18+, and their immediate household members (18+), regardless of indigenous identity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Adults 75 years and older<\/li>\n<li>Adult chronic home care recipients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are in one of the groups listed above, please phone your local vaccination centre to book an appointment.
