{"id":3905,"date":"2017-06-07T08:05:15","date_gmt":"2017-06-07T12:05:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=3905"},"modified":"2017-06-06T17:10:27","modified_gmt":"2017-06-06T21:10:27","slug":"this-is-seniors-month-living-your-best-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2017\/06\/07\/this-is-seniors-month-living-your-best-life\/","title":{"rendered":"This is Senior&#8217;s Month &#8220;Living Your Best Life&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Jun 7, 2017 @ 08:05<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Every year in June the Ontario Seniors Secretariat celebrates and recognizes the important role seniors play in our communities.\u00a0 This year\u2019s theme is, \u201cLiving Your Best Life\u201d, and in Wawa that is pretty easy to do! \u00a0\u00a0In celebration, the community has several activities planned; from entertainment to information sessions for seniors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To start the month off on Wednesday June 14<sup>th<\/sup> a Seniors Expo will be held at the Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.\u00a0 This is an opportunity for everyone who is a senior or knows a senior to learn about services available in North Algoma. The Seniors at Risk Committee will be presenting information about their work in the community and several agencies from Sault Ste. Marie will be available to answer questions you may have.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, June 22 the Lady Dunn Health Center, the Seniors Solution Council and the Canadian Red Cross will host their 12th Annual Garden Party on the grounds of the Lady Dunn Health Centre.
