High 24.<\/p>\n<p><strong>News Tidbits<\/strong> &#8211; Highway 129 remains closed at this time due to a culvert failure.<\/p>\n<p>Earth is passing through a stream of debris creating a meteor shower during the daytime. Tomorrow it peaks, and you might be able to see some of these meteors during a narrow window of darkness before sunrise.<\/p>\n<p>From Spaceweather.com &#8211; &#8220;In fact, there is way to see a few of these meteors. Try looking just before sunrise. The shower&#8217;s radiant (labeled ARI in the radar map above) rises in the east about 45 minutes before the sun. At that time of day, Arietids tend to be &#8220;Earthgrazers,&#8221; i.e., meteors that skim horizontally through the upper atmosphere from radiants near the horizon. Spectacular Earthgrazers are usually slow and bright, streaking far across the sky&#8211;a real eye-opener. <strong>Sky maps:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceweather.com\/meteors\/arietids\/images\/skymap_north.gif\">northern hemisphere<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceweather.com\/meteors\/arietids\/images\/skymap_south.gif\">southern hemisphere<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The countdown is on for our new goose. On Thursday, June 8th at 6:30 p.m. the Municipality\u00a0is asking for everyone to come and be in the farewell picture with the Wawa goose. This will be our Goose&#8217;s last sunset.
