Hawk Lake<\/p><\/div>\n

We have had some extremely nice weather over the past few days \u2013 rather unseasonal some have remarked. Last night Environment Canada confirmed that opinion. They released temperatures records that showed that much of Northern Ontario experienced record breaking temperatures 10 to 20 degrees above average for early November. Yesterday records were set in:<\/p>\n

Kenora \u2013 New record of 14.8
\nOld record of 13.5 set in 2010
\nRecords began in 1938<\/p>\n

Sioux Lookout \u2013 New record of 16.8
\nOld record of 13.9 set in 1975
\nRecords began in 1938<\/p>\n

Red Lake \u2013 New record of 13.9
\nOld record of 11.9 set in 1981
\nRecords began in 1930<\/p>\n

Dryden \u2013 New record of 15.9
\nOld record of 14.0 set in 1981
\nRecords began in 1914<\/p>\n

Big Trout Lake \u2013 New record of 10.4
\nOld record of 8.9 set in 1964
\nRecords began in 1939<\/p>\n

Thunder Bay \u2013 New record of 18.4
\nOld record of 17.8 set in 1964
\nRecords began in 1941<\/p>\n

Geraldton \u2013 New record of 16.4
\nOld record of 13.9 set in 1975
\nRecords began in 1948<\/p>\n

Moosonee \u2013 New record of 20.1
\nOld record of 17.8 set in 1975
\nRecords began in 1877
\nThe 20.1 set there today is also a record for all of November.<\/p>\n

Kapuskasing \u2013 New record of 18.5

Timmins \u2013 New record of 18.6

Chapleau \u2013 New record of 17.1

Sault Ste. Marie \u2013 New record of 18.0
\nOld record of 13.9 set in 1945

Sudbury \u2013 New record of 16.6
\nOld record of 15.0 set in 2008
\nRecords began in 1954<\/p>\n

Wawa was warm as well with a recorded temperature of 16.1 at the airport, and WawaWeather.net recording 16.6 (Michipicoten River Village \u2018Mission\u2019). From historical records Wawa, on November 7th, 2008 the temperature was recorded at 13.2. In 2005 there was 15 centimetres of snow on the ground.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
