{"id":37941,"date":"2020-10-21T09:49:41","date_gmt":"2020-10-21T13:49:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=37941"},"modified":"2020-10-21T09:52:31","modified_gmt":"2020-10-21T13:52:31","slug":"se-opp-wawa-two-charged-with-breach-unlawfully-in-a-dwelling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2020\/10\/21\/se-opp-wawa-two-charged-with-breach-unlawfully-in-a-dwelling\/","title":{"rendered":"SE OPP Wawa &#8211; Two charged with Breach &#038; Unlawfully in a Dwelling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/OPPCrest-e1501592123859.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-101\" src=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/OPPCrest-e1501592123859-300x236.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a>On October 14, 2020, at approximately 1:30 p.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene of a break and enter on Tremblay Road near Wawa.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation revealed that two people had been staying in a remote cabin without the owner&#8217;s permission.\u00a0The pair was also on conditions not to communicate with one another.<\/p>\n<p>At approximately 3:35 p.m., officers located one of the two involved parties and placed them under arrest.\u00a0A 25-year-old person, from Kitchener, was charged with the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unlawfully in Dwelling House, contrary to section 349(1) of the Criminal Code, and<\/li>\n<li>Failure to comply with release order &#8211; other than to attend court, contrary to section 145(5)(a) of the CC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa, in December, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The second individual was located and arrested on October 15, 2020.\u00a0A 27-year-old person, from Wawa, was charged with the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unlawfully in Dwelling House, contrary to section 349(1) of the CC,<\/li>\n<li>Failure to comply with release order &#8211; other than to attend court, contrary to section 145(5)(a) of the CC, and<\/li>\n<li>Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The accused was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 14, 2020, at approximately 1:30 p.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene of a break and enter on Tremblay Road near Wawa.
