{"id":36982,"date":"2020-09-23T10:29:31","date_gmt":"2020-09-23T14:29:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=36982"},"modified":"2020-09-23T10:30:11","modified_gmt":"2020-09-23T14:30:11","slug":"kirkland-lake-opp-investigate-fatal-collision-on-highway-66","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2020\/09\/23\/kirkland-lake-opp-investigate-fatal-collision-on-highway-66\/","title":{"rendered":"Kirkland Lake OPP investigate fatal collision on HIghway 66 &#8211; UPDATE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"timestamp\"><b>Sep 23, 2020 at 10:29<\/b><\/span>: On September 22, 2020, at approximately 5:04 p.m., members from the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC) involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle, on Highway 66 in McGarry Township.<\/p>\n<p>The operator of the motorcycle, Guy CHARBONNEAU, age 67, of McGarry Township, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the OPP&#8217;s Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI), an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and the North East Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team.<\/p>\n<p>Further information will be provided as it becomes available.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"timestamp\"><b>Sep 23, 2020 at 07:58<\/b><\/span>: On September 22, 2020, at approximately 5:04 p.m., members from the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC) on Highway 66 in McGarry Township.
