Knowing it was illegal, Doug Ford\u2019s Conservatives rammed the bill through the process and made it a law on Tuesday, anyway.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce again, Doug Ford has been caught breaking the law and undermining critical protections to our environment,\u201d said Arthur. &#8220;And this\u00a0certainly isn&#8217;t the first time Ford has been caught breaking Ontario\u2019s environmental laws. Last year a court ruled that Ford violated the\u00a0<i>Environmental Bill of Rights<\/i>\u00a0when he dismantled Ontario\u2019s pollution pricing regime without any consultation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAgain, Doug Ford has been caught helping developer insiders at the expense of protecting our environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Under Ontario\u2019s\u00a0<i>Environmental Bill of Rights<\/i>, governments are required to consult the public for 30 days on measures that impact the environment.
