Held at\u00a0\u00c9cole secondaire catholique Notre-Dame\u00a0under the theme \u201cL\u00e0 o\u00f9 les grandes routes se rencontrent,\u201d this annual provincial gathering attracts a great deal of attention among students from the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3415\" src=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The CSCNO, with its team of 36 students, will be well represented at the Games. Participating students will represent seven of the school board\u2019s secondary schools: \u00c9SC Jeunesse-Nord (Blind River),\u00a0\u00c9SC Trillium (Chapleau),\u00a0\u00c9S Notre-Dame-du-Sault (Sault Ste.Marie), Coll\u00e8ge Notre-Dame and \u00c9S du Sacr\u00e9-C\u0153ur (Sudbury), \u00c9SC l\u2019Horizon (Val Caron), and \u00c9S Saint-Joseph (Wawa).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3412\" src=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-2.jpg 600w, https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Jeux franco-ontarien\u2019s activities, students will measure their skills in eight categories:\u00a0sports, visual\u00a0arts,\u00a0improvisation, knowledge\u00a0quiz and Annual General Meeting of the FESFO,\u00a0circus\u00a0arts,\u00a0music,\u00a0 dance\u00a0and media.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3413\" src=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-3.jpg 600w, https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Jeux-3-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Organized by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de la jeunesse franco-ontarienne (FESFO) (Federation of Franco-Ontarian Youth), this gathering will unite artists, athletes and student leaders from all parts of Ontario in a celebration of their pride and culture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery year, our students return from the Games totally transformed and beaming with pride in their Francophone roots and culture,\u201d stated Mrs. Lyse-Anne Papineau, CSCNO Director of Education. \u201cTheir participation at this dynamic cultural identity event enables our high school students to acquire abilities that will serve them well as leaders in their school and community.\u201d<\/p>\nThe Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence.
