Marie &amp; Area &#8211; Yes (16)<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>News Tidbits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div title=\"Page 1\">\n<p>Premier Doug Ford will be joined by Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, and Caroline Mulroney, Minister of Transportation, to make an announcement at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>There were no new fires discovered by mid-afternoon May 19.\u00a0There is one active fire in the Northeast Region,\u00a0North Bay 3 is being observed at 1 hectare and is located on an island in Wicksteed Lake.\u00a0The forest\u00a0fire hazard is moderate to high across the region.<\/p>\n<p>Four new fires were discovered in the Northwest Region by mid-afternoon of May19.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Red Lake 2 is located near Pikangikum First Nation. The 0.4 hectare fire is under control.<\/li>\n<li>Thunder Bay 12 was discovered near Hwy. 589 and Stonehill Rd.. The 0.1 hectare fire is now out.<\/li>\n<li>Kenora 13 is located on Wabaseemoong Independent Nation. The 1.5 hectare fire is not under control.<\/li>\n<li>Red Lake 3 is located approximately seven kilometres southeast of the remote community of Poplar Hill.
