Time Re-Opened:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>1825<\/p>\n

Kenora\u00a0Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advise of the following Road Closure:<\/p>\n

Highway:\u00a017,\u00a0<\/em>Vermillion Bay to Manitoba Border, d<\/em>ue to snow fall and collisions.<\/p>\n

<\/i>\n\t\t\tMembers of the Ontario Provincial Police would like to advise motorists that Highway 17 is currently closed from the Manitoba border to Vermillion Bay. Due to the current road conditions, the highway will be closed for an unknown length of time The OPP is asking motorists to review their travels plans if they plan on driving in \u200ethe region and recommends people stay home, avoid unnecessary travel and let snow removal crews do their work. The OPP reminds motorists and the public not to call the OPP for road conditions. You can now call 5-1-1 for interactive up to date road conditions anywhere in Ontario or call the MTO toll-free at 1-800-268-4686. \n\t\t\t<\/div><\/div>\n

SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 15 TO 25 CM ARE LIKELY BY TUESDAY MORNING.<\/div>\n
GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS TO 50 KM\/H WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING SNOW IN<\/div>\n
EXPOSED AREAS AS WELL.<\/div>\n

THERE IS ALSO A RISK OF BRIEF FREEZING RAIN TONIGHT IN THE SIOUX<\/div>\n

HAZARDOUS WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS FROM ACCUMULATING SNOW AND VERY<\/div>\n
LOW VISIBILITY IN HEAVY SNOW CONTINUE TONIGHT. HIGHWAY 17 IS CLOSED<\/div>\n
FROM VERMILION BAY TO THE MANITOBA BORDER ACCORDING TO MTO REPORTS.<\/div>\n

THE SNOW WILL COME TO AN END FROM WEST TO EAST ON TUESDAY.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
VISIBILITY MAY BE SUDDENLY REDUCED AT TIMES IN HEAVY SNOW. SURFACES<\/div>\n
SUCH AS HIGHWAYS, ROADS, WALKWAYS AND PARKING LOTS MAY BECOME<\/div>\n
DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE DUE TO ACCUMULATING SNOW. IF VISIBILITY IS<\/div>\n
