\u201cThe Ford government is hurting businesses in northern Ontario that depended on the 50 million trees program cancelled this April,\u201d said Monteith-Farrell, the NDP\u2019s Forestry critic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe owner of\u00a0Millson Forestry Service in Timmins, Jenny Millson, wrote to us to say that the program\u2019s cancellation has hurt her business.\u00a0It has caused her to lose orders for hundreds of thousands of trees.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cShe has talked to some of the other\u00a0growers\u00a0and they\u2019re all in the same boat. \u00a0Millions of trees will likely be dumped, and businesses will lose significant revenue.\u00a0\u00a0Not to mention the lost opportunity to grow our forests.<\/p>\n
