{"id":20970,"date":"2019-05-02T14:12:45","date_gmt":"2019-05-02T18:12:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=20970"},"modified":"2019-05-02T14:12:45","modified_gmt":"2019-05-02T18:12:45","slug":"autism-public-consultations-begin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2019\/05\/02\/autism-public-consultations-begin\/","title":{"rendered":"Autism Public Consultations Begin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ontario is holding public consultations on how children and youth with autism can be better supported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI invite all people across Ontario to take part in the largest consultation on autism in the history of the province,\u201d said Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Children, Community and Social Services. \u201cWe are listening, and your advice will be invaluable in helping us best assess how we can build a needs-based approach to autism services, including through additional direct funding in Childhood Budgets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There are two ways for families to participate in the consultations during the month of May &#8211; an online survey and a series of telephone town halls.
