{"id":18480,"date":"2005-03-17T11:26:00","date_gmt":"2005-03-17T16:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=18480"},"modified":"2019-01-29T11:29:12","modified_gmt":"2019-01-29T16:29:12","slug":"serious-injury-collision-south-of-wawa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2005\/03\/17\/serious-injury-collision-south-of-wawa\/","title":{"rendered":"Serious Injury Collision South of Wawa&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Publish on: <b>Mar 17, 2005<\/b><\/p>\n<p>(Wawa, Ontario) \u2013 Superior East OPP detachment are investigating a 2 vehicle collision which occurred today on Highway 17 approximately 70 kms south of Wawa at 3:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The investigation revealed that a northbound car driven by 34 year old Chris Barbe of Capreol, Ontario crossed over into the southbound lane sideswiping a southbound tractor trailer then veered into the southbound ditch causing extensive damage to the car.\u00a0 The tractor trailer which was carrying a wide load sustained moderate damage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the truck was not injured.
