{"id":15324,"date":"2018-09-10T15:41:59","date_gmt":"2018-09-10T19:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=15324"},"modified":"2018-09-10T15:53:43","modified_gmt":"2018-09-10T19:53:43","slug":"collision-closes-highway-11-for-several-hours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2018\/09\/10\/collision-closes-highway-11-for-several-hours\/","title":{"rendered":"Collision closes Highway 11 for several hours &#8211; Charges Laid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Sep 10, 2018 @ 15:41<\/b><\/p>\n<p>On September 9, 2018 shortly before 7:00 a.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Temagami Fire Department and Nipissing District Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a call for a motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 near Rabbit Lake Road, south of Temagami, Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>Further investigation revealed that the tractor-trailer had been travelling southbound on Highway 11, and lost control. The tractor-trailer ended up in Angus Lake.\u00a0The two occupants were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The highway had to be closed in both directions as a result of live hydro lines that were on the roadway.\u00a0Hydro One attended for safety concerns and restoration of hydro.
