{"id":15098,"date":"2018-08-28T12:26:52","date_gmt":"2018-08-28T16:26:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/?p=15098"},"modified":"2018-08-28T12:26:52","modified_gmt":"2018-08-28T16:26:52","slug":"se-opp-wawa-charge-three-local-men-with-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wawa-news.com\/index.php\/2018\/08\/28\/se-opp-wawa-charge-three-local-men-with-assault\/","title":{"rendered":"SE OPP Wawa Charge three local men with assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday August 25, 2018, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East (Wawa) Detachment responded to a local Wawa address regarding a report of an assault. \u00a0Preliminary investigation revealed that a 20 year old male had been assaulted by three other males.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the investigation,\u00a0Dawson BERNATH (20 years) of Wawa, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following offence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assault Causing Bodily Harm, contrary to section 267(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cody EGAN (22 years) of Wawa, Ontario, has also been arrested and charged with the following offence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assault Causing Bodily Harm, contrary to section 267(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A 17-year-old Wawa, Ontario male, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has also been arrested and charged with the following offence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assault Causing Bodily Harm, contrary to section 267(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All accused persons have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa, Ontario on October 15, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday August 25, 2018, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East (Wawa) Detachment responded to a local Wawa address regarding a report of an assault. \u00a0Preliminary investigation revealed that a 20 year old male had been assaulted by three other males.
