Official Opposition Leader Andrea Horwath has named a northern NDP MPP as one of her new deputy leaders, and assigned key critic roles to the NDP\u2019s northern team of MPPs to help make life better for northern families.<\/p>\n

Horwath announced critic roles for the NDP, Ontario\u2019s Official Opposition, on Thursday.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cOur strong team of Northern New Democrats will make this government accountable to families in Northern Ontario.\u00a0 The NDP has a long history of fighting for Northern Ontario and the public services and jobs that families in northern communities depend on,\u201d Horwath said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving a northern deputy leader like John Vanthof who is an experienced MPP will ensure that New Democrats will connect with more people in northern and rural communities.\u00a0 Together with our northern team of NDP MPPs, we will continue to fight for northern health care, education and job creation.\u201d<\/p>\n
