At 9:21 a.m. Superior East (Chapleau)\u00a0Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advise of the following Road Closure:<\/p>\n

Highway:\u00a0Highway 101<\/em><\/p>\n

Location:\u00a0between Chapleau and Timmins<\/em><\/p>\n

As a result of a motor vehicle collision and due to road and weather conditions.\u00a0 Hwy has been closed.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Superior East Chapleau Detachment of the\u00a0Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) advises that Highway 101 is closed from Chapleau to Foleyet while they investigate multiple motor vehicle collisions due to deteriorating road and weather conditions.<\/p>\n

OPP advises motorists to exercise caution as driving conditions are hazardous at this time, so please stay off the roads unless emergent travel is required.<\/p>\n

The O.P.P. will distribute details and updates of the road advisory as information becomes available.<\/p>\n

Please do not call O.P.P. Provincial Communication Centres for road advisory updates or road condition information.<\/p>\n
